Joel's fascination with robotics began in 7th grade when he joined his school's robotics club in the US. From participating in VEX Robotics competitions to recently graduating with a B.Tech in Robotics and Automation from Saintgits College of Engineering, his journey has been driven by an insatiable curiosity for intelligent machines. He is also pursuing a B.S. in Data Science at IIT-Madras, further expanding his expertise.
Joel has had the privilege of interning at Unique World Robotics and participating in programs like Intel Unnati Industrial Training, where he delved into areas such as computer vision and deep learning. His recent project, NavRover, an open-source autonomous rover, has attracted attention from the robotics community and earned recognition from Open Robotics, fueling his passion even further.
As a fresh graduate standing at the intersection of robotics, automation, and data science, Joel remains humbled by how much there is still to explore. He is eager to share his experiences, from classroom theories to real-world applications, and discuss the boundless potential of robotics in shaping the future.
